BSc MBBS (1983 London) Trained at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, and completed his postgraduate training at Poole General Hospital. His main medical interests are bone and joint disorders and exercise related health.
|Dr Philip Doust (m)|
Dr Philip Doust went to medical school at the university of Southampton. After completing his training in 2005 he worked in Southampton General Hospital for 2 and a half years, before moving to Poole General Hospital for a further 2 years on a medical rotation. He moved to Northamptonshire to do his GP training and following this in 2013 worked locally as a GP. He and his family moved back to Dorset in 2015.
|Dr Edmund Ibrahim (m)|
MB ChB(2005) MRCGP(2016), Dr Ibrahim completed his undergraduate training at the University of Leicester and worked in Cornwall, New Zealand and Ethiopia. He was formerly an Anaesthetics trainee and qualified as a GP in 2016 in London, where he worked as a Locum, Salaried and Lead GP until moving to Dorset in 2021. Outside of work he enjoys Surfing.
|Dr Camilla Johnson (f)|
Dr Johnson trained at Newcastle upon Tyne Medical School and completed her postgraduate medical training in the North East and North West of England before entering Vocational training in General Practice with the Mersey Deanery. Her main interests are Dermatology and General Internal Medicine. Outside of work she enjoys outdoor activities, attending the gym, playing the piano and spending time with family.
|Dr Emma McFarland (f)|
Dr McFarland trained at Southampton Medical School and completed post graduate training at Dorset County and Salisbury District Hospital. Her main interests are womens health and contraception/sexual health and she inserts and removes contraceptive implants for the practice. Outside of work she enjoys travelling,outdoor activities and spending time with family.
|Dr Jo Shepherd (f)|
Dr Shepherd moved to Poole after graduating from Southampton University in 2006 and, apart from 6 months working in A&E in New Zealand, she has lived and worked in the area ever since. She is married with 2 daughters and an energetic collie and spends her free time chasing after them, enjoying the Dorset coast and countryside.

Dr Somani trained at St George's Medical School, London and worked in Kent before completing GP training in Bournemouth. She has worked as a full-time GP locum widely in Dorset and also in rural Australia.
|Dr Robert Whitmey (m)|
Dr Whitmey qualified in Edinburgh in 1975. He was in the Royal Navy between 1976 to 1984 and spent most of his time with Submarines. He started General Practice in London in 1984 in Brixton, intending to go back to Scotland after a few years. Finally left in 2014 to retire in Bournemouth. Dr Whitmey got fed up after a month and started working again in Hampshire and then Dorset finally joining Kinson Road in July 2017. His main interests outside work are playing guitar and running.
